Who qualifies through UAE residence
UAE residence opens a route into Armenia for all three passports, under the conditions below.
From 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027, nationals of 111 listed countries holding a UAE residence permit valid at least six months from entry can visit Armenia without a visa for up to 180 days in a year.
The nationals of 111 countries who hold a valid residence permit issued by the United States of America, European Union Member States, Schengen Area States, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, or the Sultanate of Oman, and whose residence permit is valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the Republic of Armenia, are exempt from the visa requirement starting from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2027. They can stay in the territory of the Republic of Armenia without a visa for up to 180 days within a one-year period.

How to apply from the UAE
Indian passport: Indians living in the UAE use their UAE residence permit for the temporary visa-free entry: it must be a physical card or a sticker in the passport, and border officers may accept it if it shows, in Latin script, the document title, name, surname, nationality, date of birth and validity dates.
