  • Applicants who lodge in Mumbai, Pune or Goa must keep their original boarding passes and other travel proofs for the whole Schengen trip and present them to the Consulate General in Goa, through a VFS centre, on their return.

  1. In India, Portugal takes Schengen visa applications through VFS Global centres in New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Chennai, Goa, Jalandhar, Mumbai and Pune.

Indian citizens who live in the UAE:

  • In the UAE, Portuguese Schengen and national visas are lodged only at the VFS centres in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, for people legally resident in the UAE; questions go to VFS first, then to the Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
