UK visa holders · List
Countries you can visit with a UK visa
In brief
A valid UK visa changes the entry rule in 24 destinations for travellers who would otherwise need a visa there: 16 let you in visa-free, 5 give a visa on arrival and 3 let you apply online instead of at a consulate. Most rules cover only some nationalities, and some ask for a multiple-entry visa, a visa stamped in your passport or one you have already used. 2 more rules apply only when you are in transit.

Every destination, with its conditions
“Who it applies to” matters: a rule for “nationals who need a visa” helps only if your passport needs one there. Holding a UK visa never replaces your passport, and the officer at the border decides. A UK Standard Visitor visa now comes as an eVisa, a digital record rather than a sticker1: check the conditions, as some destinations ask for a visa in the passport.
